In order to have the
cleanest, best power available to your studio, home theater system,
or broadcast facility, you must take an overall view of the power
flow and then address each issue in its logical order. Our products
correctly address each step of the process with a robust level of
performance previously only found in military equipment. Do not confuse
these better-than-industrial strength units with any of the cheap,
mass produced "power strip" circuitry you may have previously
seen.
If you add up the power
requirements in a well-equipped home theater installation, you will
find that no one else makes a single solution such as this which is
capable of powering the entire system from one, clean source.
In fact most so-called "home theater" power conditioners
cannot even handle the current requirements of ONE high-end subwoofer,
let alone all the other pre and amplification equipment!

VOLTAGE MONITOR / CONTROLLER

Voltage
Monitor / Controller
Models VC120 |
The best protection
for any electronic equipment after a power disruption is to disconnect
from the power grid. The Ground One VC120 is designed with this
goal in mind.
In the event of a
power disturbance (100V low, 130V high) the voltage monitor sends
a signal to the power contactor to disconnect from the grid. This
contactor will not reconnect your system back to the grid until
you manually reset the unit or, if you chose the reset option, it
will reconnect to the grid once the power has stabilized. A Thermostat-Controlled
shut down sensor is an option.
BENEFITS
One Button on/off for your system
Protects equipment, settings, and calibration
Removes equipment from the grid during a disturbance
Input Voltage:
120 / 240 V
Output Voltage: Split Phase 120 Volts
Maximum Amperage: 120 Amps
Width: 19" (Rack)
Height: 3.5" (2RU)
Depth: 12.5"
Weight: 12 lbs

ISOLATION TRANSFORMER
|
| Rackmount
Isolation Transformer |
|
The Isolation Transformer
serves multiple purposes in a power distribution system. First and
foremost it allows us to re-bond the neutral and ground on the secondary
of the transformer. Typically the difference of potential between
neutral and ground are where the majority of ground noise originates
in A / V systems.
Secondarily the use of
a triple-shielded transformer allows for the common mode rejection
of up to 120db of incoming noise being generated by such things as
refrigeration motors, air conditioning units and compressors during
turn-on. It also allows us to use a secondary grounding system to
ensure a less than 5 Ohms path to earth which is mandatory, especially
in any large scale installation.
BENEFITS
Necessary for the quietest, noise-free system
Acts as a power reservoir allowing for a more dynamic sound field
Increases equipment reliability
Provides protection and filtering from small transients
Input Voltage:
240 V
Output Voltage: Split Phase 120 Volts
Maximum Amperage: 120 Amps
Width: 19" (Rack)
Height: 7" (4RU)
Depth: 22"
Weight: 80 to 120 lbs

PD620 |
|
The biggest problem that we see
in power distribution in home environments (and in "personal"
recording studios) is the length and size of wire used by most electricians.
The PD620 was designed to minimize this issue.
It simply requires your electrician
to supply a 240 volt feed to your equipment racks and the PD620 takes
over from there. With the PD620 in the system, all of the branch circuits
Hot, Neutral, and Ground wires all homerun to the same location in
the main rack. This will minimize the difference of potential between
the Neutral and Ground conductors thereby eliminating most noise issues.
BENEFITS
Helps to eliminate ground loops, RF Noise, and other power anomalies
Shortens lead length in ground and neutral wiring
Reduces space required for proper power distribution
Input Voltage:
120 / 240 V
Output Voltage: Split Phase 120 Volts
Maximum Amperage: 120 Amps
Width: 19" (Rack)
Height: 3.5" (2RU)

RC Noise Filter |
|
One of the best ways to remove
RF noise from line to neutral in your system is a resistor-capacitor
filter. We have developed the RF120 as a no-nonsense, brute force
RC filter for this reason.
Each output receptacle has its
own power filter set. This filter rejects noise from the incoming
power and also from noise from components plugged directly
into other outlets in the filter. Generally speaking you can realize
a 10 db noise floor improvement on your power system.
BENEFITS
Remove noise from line to neutral conductors
Blacker Blacks and whiter whites in video image
Better imaging and depth in audio material

Maximum Amperage: 120 Amps
